STEP ONE

Sketch the eyes on a piece of cardboard. Go here for a "how to draw an alien" tutorial. Then, cut the eyes out.

STEP TWO

Paint the eyes green. Optionally, you can glue green construction paper to the cardboard.

STEP THREE

Draw, cut out, and paint two tentacles.

STEP FOUR

Paint the cereal box or wrap it in green paper.

STEP FIVE

Cut slits (children - ask an adult to do this!) in the top of the box and insert the eyes.

STEP SIX

If the eyes are a little floppy then you can reinforce the backs with cardboard and glue.

STEP SEVEN

Cut slits in the side (help needed by an adult) and insert the tentacles.

STEP EIGHT

If your alien isn't standing upright then fold the flaps inside the box.
