There are several "gum walls" in the United States. The most famous is in Seattle called The Gum Wall.

In 2005 the gum wall was dismantled. Apparently the sugary gum was causing the bricks to erode. But, have no fear, after the gum was disposed of, people once again began sticking their chewing gum on the wall. If you go today, it is back to normal! Many flock to the wall to make selfies.

Another gum wall called Bubble Gum Alley is located in San Luis Obispo, California.
